Very hot but ordinary day. Lots of playing with the children. Real progress with Shanti who I managed to get to say Anna and Coca (baby). She also loved piggy backs. She and Maria were full of kisses and cuddles for me - what an improvement on the beginning. However, Shanti still managed to hurt me - she scratched deep into a bad mosquito bite making it really bleed. |I spent some time with Beverly and her kids. They are great. We got Marghita and Mihaila walking and a little screwed up cerebral palsy kid, Marian, giggling. I also got a very disabled girl - Mihaila laughing from crying! It is nice with Bev’s parents. I really like them although I couldn’t cope with having my parents with me!

Afterwards us 3 girls went for a beer in town which was brilliant. We had so much fun. I get on with them so well. I hope I remember what this is like. I am really having fun. I thought about England, on the rickety bridge as we got beeped at. It seems like a million miles away!
